An initial assessment lasts 75 minutes and is $125.

A follow-up appointment lasts 45 minutes and is $75.

Do sessions take place in-person or online via Telehealth?

Sessions can take place either in-person in my Cedar Rapids, Iowa office location or online via a secure Telehealth platform

Do you accept insurance?

At this time I do not accept insurance. I accept payment in the form of credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

Some insurance companies cover a limited number of dietitian visits each year. Contact your insurance provider to see if you can get reimbursed for your visits. A superbill (itemized receipt) can be provided upon request to submit Out of Network claims.

What state am I required to live in to be able to work with you?

Due to state licensure laws, you must be a resident of one of the following states in order for me to be able to work with you:

  • Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

What ages do you work with?

I work with people who are aged 12 years and up. If you have a child younger than 12, we can discuss if this would be the right fit.

What does it mean that you are “weight-neutral” and “weight inclusive”?

This is a judgement-free zone! Many people have experienced weight bias, especially from healthcare professionals. I believe that all bodies are good bodies, and subscribe to the Health at Every Size approach. You can be confident that you will receive compassionate, tailored care without the focus on weight.
